Recommend me some tyres at £20 each that are grippy, tough sidewalls, and 2.35ish or bigger
If you can stretch to £22.99 per tyre I'd recommend a pair of Specialized Eskars.
spesh eskar for a couple quid more, 2.3 blow up big and can be used tubeless.
^^^^^ great minds
Thirded, running Eskars on my Trance X and really liking them.
Looks like I will be going back to them. Like the nevegals grip more but the sidewalls seem weak if run tubeless
What about these Rubber Queens £16.99 each or 2 for £32.28
Maxxis High rollers 60A's
Eskar user here as well.
I've run them on my hardtail and full sus for over two years ( obv they wear eventually)
But brilliant all rounders
the rubber queens are the shite compound at that price though 🙁
Sorry i should have realised it was the moon on a stick you wanted not some cheep tyres, my bad.
Purgatorys are great, same price as the Eskars.
I saw some Ignitors in Leisure Lakes for £46 this week.
Tyres for the Omega are only £54!
Have a look at Geax, they have a reasonable range at reasonable prices.
They're not the lightest, but they work well, wear well and are tough!
They come up on the large size and have quite high sidewalls for the width, so a 2.25 Sturdy Freeride, for example, is a pretty big tyre.
Geax Lobo Loco on special at Wiggle at the moment - only £10.50 for the 2.3 folding!
anyone tried the geax lobo?
Running Eskars on the rear of my Heckler and mmmBop, good for the Peaks.
I have a pair of used once eskars I will do for £25 posted!
BAGSTARD
are they the control ones? Email some snaps please. Out at the moment but will respond late afternoon. Cruz.Heckler@gmail.com
I have had the Lobo Loco on my HT for a year or more - starting to look a bit worn, but still plenty to go.
They hook up really well, even when it gets a bit slippery and muddy!
Schwalbes!
