I currently have a commy meta 5.5 as my main rig.
Second bike is a random no name ali hardtale that is 11-12 years old with a mix of random parts:
RS psylo xc
V-brakes
9speed deore
old steel DMR wing bars (the ones with the brace to make them like low bmx bars) with bmx stem
the rest is standard parts box goodies.
I have the chance to buy an old steel orange that I have loved for years. Should I buy it and make one good bike out of it and sell the remaining parts. Or, build the orange into a nice second bike and keep the remaining parts to build into a pub/hack bike?
FYI- the money raised by selling the remaining parts will probably go towards the cost of buying the orange and/or servicing the forks on the meta.

Funny you say that, the orange is already SS so a swap of parts is all it takes. Eating into my fork service money though 🙂

Not really. An issue has now arrisen stopping me buying the Orange so ill be sticking with the nasty ali frame for the time being.
