I may be up there in a couple of weeks collecting my lad from his DoE qualification expedition, so it would make sense to chuck the bike in the car and take half a day off.
Can anyone recommend a 2 hr easy route?
No “gnarr” as a) I’ll be on my own, and b) I’m old.
There is only limited gnarr. Pretty but plenty of bogs and hike a bike in places. Have sent you a message.
There's a figure of 8 loop with dunsop at the top and chipping at the bottom using bridleways and road. It's pretty gentle but better than nothing at all, especially on a nice day. Will take a couple of hours or thereabouts with a coffee and cake stop at the cafe in chipping.
I can't find the full loop, it used to be on pedal north.
This is the bottom half of the loop starting at chipping. There's a bridleway from the top end of this loop that goes over to haredon then you go over to dunsop, then back down to meet the to half of this loop again. It's fairly easy to find on os map.

Drive down the road to gisburn forest.
The fell, as stated above, is bog and hike a bike in the main.
