So got carbon roval rims. 30mm. Last time i set them up i binned the rim strip and gorilla taped them. However im wondering if this rim strip is actually the roval way of sealing the rim? Its not sticky but it is slightly rubbery.

so ditch the rim strip and tape or give it a go?

Ive used those 2bliss rim strips on my last 2 pairs of wheels which were set up tubeless and have had no issues.

I have annoyingly just damaged one putting a nick in it, cant seem to find the 29 x 31mm version online anywhere and my LBS says spesh dont sell them, does anyone on here have a spare one or two laying around theyd like to sell?

Put a bit of duct tape over the nick. Thats what we did in the Alps when we damaged one. Still going strong two years later

It's fine but but can lift easily when changing tyre .but being a rubber type it deals quickly with sealant if only lifted a little .

So if you change tyres regular it will quickly need attention by replacing or repairing

I was convinced new carbon rivals were shipped with plugs .could be wrong

Good kit. Pretty much standard on all my tubeless set ups.

Mine came with plugs and strips. Plugs are still i.n the bag. Not a serial tyre swapper so not had any problems apart from putting in a new spoke and then just holed the strip and duct tape over after.
