You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I’ve got 2 or 3 hours to kill at Bedgebury tomorrow. Normally takes me about an hour to do the Red route. Anyone got any suggestions to extend it by an hour or so? Ideally a bit of ‘open space’ with views riding to counter the twisty Singletrack fun under the trees.
Pair it with a lap of bewl water?
This is no use to you at all, but before I moved away 12 years ago I could put together a route round Bedgebury which was around 60km and included a disused railway tunnel.
There certainly used to be a huge number of rarely used trails which were really good fun.
I suspect a lot of the knowledge disappeared when I moved as everyone just wants to stick to the way marked scalextric track.
A lap of Bewl Water followed by Bedgers?
I knew someone that did 10 laps of Bewl.

Do you have the route for others to see? I'd be up for that.
For the OP, If I go to Bedgebury I usually do at least 3 laps to make it worth while. Or ride out from home which is about 25 mins away and ride through Bedgebury to Bewl, do a lap of Bewl and head back home via Bedgebury. Takes about 3 hours.
