You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So, was going to be doing Relentless at the end of October, but a couple of the four we were going to enter as a team have pulled out, and don't much fancy a pair ...
Now looking at more of a 2-3 day MTB challenge/adventure; a route we could do over 8-12 hour days, stop over and then carry on the next day. Have done Sandstone Way, so that kind of thing (but more fun trails!)
Lakes? Northern England? Wales? Possibly south Scotland ... Any recommendations?
Mid Wales bothies?
Sarn Helen. There does seem to be some variations on what is the correct route (the original now has the A5 running along it) but none of them are easy.
Look on selfsupporteduk.net and choose your challenge. A quick list:
Tranc Cambrian trail 100 miles
Pennine Bridleway 180 miles
Yorkshire Dales 300 (Km)
Lakeland 200 (Km)
The Cambrian Trail 500 (Km)
I'd make my own route in the lakes staying in YHAs, there's loads. & they sell booze now too!
