I'd like to build 1x10spd cyclocross bike. I'll use Sram Force crankset, OG1070 (12-27) cassette, Dura Ace 7700 rear derailleur... but what about chainring and chain guide? What should I use? Any idea?

So the chainguard and the Dog Fang are the best solution? What about the Rohloff chain guide, the N-hear and similar items?

i ordered from http://www.bbgbashguard.com/ not arrived yet so cant comment on it

somebody did point me in the direction of a uk based bash gaurd for £10 but forgot where i read it, maybe on this forum..

mine works just fine usually with no bash but very occasionally off road it will jump off on the outside and, never gone inside as yet.

What do You think about using BBGbashguard at the outer side and N-Gear Jump Stop to the inner side? Or should I use two bashguards? (I think that the N-Gear let me more adjustability.)

I run the cx 1x10.38t up front and a sram 11-32 out back.I use a superstar chainguide....which is bb mounted. But road bb's dont have a spacer i hear you cry. They do when you machine 4mm off the driveside bb shell 😯 !!

expensive but prob the safest option.

i have now received the bbg lightweight bash which works just fine, well my chains not come off yet, but its light. its not bling but looks ok. its not really tough looking but it should keep the chain on fine. the normal version would work fine for abuse if thats your thing.
can send pics if needed

Thanks, I'm interested in bbg bashguards. Please, send me pics... Did You install the guard only on the outer side?

Ngear plus BBG has worked well for me on my backup cross bike, and I'm just about to convert my main cross bike to that setup.

A light bash ring and N gear jump stop is light and works very good had the same set up on my MTB and worked a treat. I never lost the chain riding trails and singletrack.
