Help please.
I've bought a Hope T-Rex chain ring and am reading about taking the 17 tooth ring out the cassette but I have a Shimano HG8111-36T and you can't take this ring out, only the 11T but I obviously need this.
Time to buy a new cassette, what is the best cassette to buy so I can remove this ring.
Do i need a new chain (Currently running Shimano HG95 10SPD)
Rear derailleur is fine i believe (Shimano XT Shadow plus)

Chain should be fine if long enough.

Can't comment on SLX etc as no knowledge of them.
I think slx requires some drilling to separate the cogs in question, whereas XT are separate. Go with XT.
