Do a search. There are LOADS of 1x10 / 1x9 threads. I tried it and didn't like it. Now i run 2x10. 42/32 suits my riding much better.

I had 30 gears, went down to 2x10 a while back and looking at going 1x10 soon with a 33t front. I think big steep climbs I'll suffer but it will work me harder to get my fitness up, also I do more down than up really.

I'm goon for SRAM x0 DH cranks, renthal 33t chain ring and Mrp g2 mini

paul you could just file the granny ring tabs off and will work fine with chain device no need for new crank
