just taken delivery of my new Bird which I specced with Reverb Stealth and 1x paddle. Only been able to try it out on the road outside the house so far, but seems a lot better than the old version.
Any longer term users thoughts on them ?
It is far, far better than the old one. Fitted one to the reverb on my T130 and haven't looked back. perfectly matches the shape of my Eagle shifter and it just feels so intuitive to use, I actually find myself using the dropper more than before!
Only had a handful of rides but really happy with it. Found the bleed fiddly - didn't feel like fluid was going in, turned out it had gone in OK, bit it only needed a tiny, tiny amount
Not tried one, but they're ugly to me. MMX attachment like a shifter. A classic Reverb lever mounted 1x to a sram/avid brake using its clamp is just neat and uncluttered.
Debating one though as I need a RH lever to swap for a LH, and price of old or new is about £80! May as well get a modern one for that money just for a lever. That said, it would have to be a proper LH one. With the classic it's RH to mount under on the left that I want, but the new ones mount under anyway, which at least is good.
Just got one, hopefully trying it out tonight. Been running a 30.9 with a shim so took advantage of the price on CRC to get the right size with the new lever.
Only thing is that the hose exits the res quite low which offends my cable routing OCD as it is a distance from the brake hose for, ooh, 100mm or so.
I defo need to get out more.
Works well for me. Easier push and is in the perfect position for my thumb. Much better than the standard remote Imho.
My chrimbo pressie to myself will be the the Wolf Components dropper remote for the reverb. Looks good with great reviews.
Does the bleed kit and bar clamp come in the box with these new Reverbs?
Mine came already fitted to a new bike so don’t know. Didn’t get a bleed kit but did get the little attachment which fits onto the regular billed syringe, and I have 2 of the regulars kits anyway !
Boxed ones have bleed kits, OE ones don't.
It's a bit on the chunky side for what it actually does, but ergonomically it's streets ahead of the old plunger - put one on both bikes.

Ta.
What about the small bar clamp?
Looking forward to trying at weekend. I have a Woftooth LA on a Fox Transfer on FS and this feels similarly plush, though a bit heavier to push. I suffer from arthritis in thumbs so hoping this works well.
I have a novyparts one- it's good but it makes bleeding more fiddly, and it's not quite the right shape to work nicely with matchmakers imo. But still miles better than the original one, which was properly shit.
If anyone wants to buy one, give me a shout!

My remote(just remote, not post) had the bleeding edge tool included but no bleed kit
Boxed posts include the tool and bleed kit

Post or lever?
My boxed one from CRC came with matchmaker clamp, separate "discreet" clamp and bleed kit with the bleeding edge doodad. Also the hose pulling double ended widget.
Just been for a short ride, agree the body could be more streamlined but to use it's bloody lovely! Surprised at the difference to be honest
It's many, many times better than the old type. If you also have sram brakes and shifter then you get a really satisfying clean bar setup too.
I also find I use the dropper much more than before too as you can push with thumb as well as covering the brakes.
Much better than the original, well worth doing.
