Randomly I've found myself with a 197x57mm coil shock and some offset bushings that can make it 190x57mm.

Looking for a few suggestions for frames it could go in as a wee project - anyone want to make a suggestion?

Pretty sure that’s the same as my old nuke proof mega, circa 2011 and in all it’s 26” wheeled beauty

Plenty of frames take a 200x57.

You're thinking 29er I assume?

What's the budget?

New RocketMax, Stage 6, Starling Murmur... or something a bit cheaper/secondhand?

A 2017 Smuggler frame. I did have a 200x57 air shock on mine with offset bushings it’s an XL, now run it with a 190x50 CCDB IL coil shock if had a 190X57 coil would be interested to try it.

Did you use an angleset to slacken the bike back out again after fitting the longer shock?

I considered it but decided I'd rather go more slack and am running my Smuggler at about -2 degrees with a 190x50 DBair (140mm fork). It's great.

I think the bike had a -1 degree angle adjust although  I didn’t test the bike that much. It Had 140mm forks up front. Am  now back to standard headset & coil with 140mm forks
