As title says.
After dicking about with gears on my Gryphon I've converted it back to single speed using a cheapo KMC chain.
I just wondered whether people went for cheap and cheerful or burly and expensive (relatively).

KMC 610, £7.95 from CRC at the moment.
Avoid SRAM PC1; they're more stretched new than the KMC after a couple of thousand miles!

Just noticed you're after a 1/8" chain; why?

Got lovely 1/8 velosolo chainring. 🙂

The chain I've got is a KMC510s, buried well down in the KMC website.

Charlie got the 510 for less than a tenner, best chain I've ever had!

Also had a Sram, think it was a PC-1.....

Absolute garbage! - snapped on me twice.

Now running a KMC with no issues.
