Advice ... the change in stroke seems to be easy enough to do ... and involved parting with 40 GBP.
It is on a FlareMax, which can take 140s
Worth doing ... or will I never notice? ( I suspect the latter)
And yes, I can use up all the travel ...
Even more so if your going from an older type air shaft to a DebonAir.
They are debonair / charge damper ...
130 was supposed to be the sweet spot on the FlareMax. I'd leave it as is for the time being and see how it feels.
Doubt you’ll notice the travel difference.
Make sure you get a 2019 spec debonair airshaft - they are definitely different to the 2017 Pike airshaft - I know because I’ve done the change.
If you want to check what you’ve got, the old airshaft has black plastic / rubber on the bottom of it - but the 2019 version has red anodised aluminium on the bottom.
If you take the top cap off the air side of the forks and shine a torch down inside you should be able to see if you have the whizzy red one or not.

Making the circlip easier to remove and reinstall, which is an added bonus for those of us with just the 2 hands.
Thanks ....
Maybe leave as is ...
They are either ‘17 or ‘18 pikes ... will the ‘19 shaft fit?
Yep,but depending on the year you might need a slightly different model:
