Right lads, i got a pair of Giant 29ers to run alongside my current exactly the same 29er wheels.

However mine came fitted to the bike when i bought and are 15mm. This came with 9mm QR's and the maxle 15mm in the box.

the 15's are screwed onto a large spacer. However, that spacer doesn't fit through the bearings.

So, one of 2 things... either....
1. Remove bearings, then fit spacer, then refit bearings ?
2. the bits on the end are the only bits needed and the middle piece is just a spacer so you don't lose them

or.... is there a 3 ?

If it's anything like my Halo's then you pull out or unscrew the end of the 9mm qr axle, pull it out then push in the 15 or 20 mm end caps, pop the wheel in and push through the maxle.

You'd have to post pics of your wheel though so people on here could see exactly what it looks like?

Or find somebody with exactly the same wheels.

I assume you have bought a 2nd set of 15mm wheels, not a standard qr set and a seperate maxle?

all sorted.

Had to tap out the bearings. Install the 15mm spacer kit, re-fit the bearings then screw on the 15mm caps.
