I have a 142x12mm SLX freehub that I need to remove. It seems to need a 15mm allen key to remove it, but I can't seem to find one anywhere. Even tried the LBS, but they don't have one either.

Anyone got any ideas?

Any good motor factors should have them.

As per Druidh, or you could go for a hex socket?

Edit: Probably be too wide, though.

+1 for ebay

I bodged it last time, think i clamped a bolt in the vice with the right sized head sticking out and used that

Oh I never thought of checking ebay! Thanks for that - I've ordered one from there and will ring the motor factors tomorrow to see if I can get one same day. May even try to get a 14mm and a 16mm for future weird size events.

Thanks all.

Same as Ash. I used a 15mm bolt in a vice, dropped the wheel on to it and span the wheel. Came off easy.

Well the motor factors were pretty useless. I'll pop along to b&q or screwfix later to look for a radiator valve wrench and some hex bolts
