Hi,
I am planning a trip to the North and dropping into Hawes on the way up. Looking for a 2 - 2.5hr, 15 to 20mile loop.
I am looking for the best value - I.e. plenty of riding down hills rather than up them!
Appreciate thoughts - I have found a couple of routes already, but you never know which is the "best".
We'll be there Sat afternoon on the 17th Jan.

I await flaming but I struggled to put together a loop like that around hawes. If it doesn't have to be hawes but just around there I'd suggest reeth, settle or sedbergh as bases for a better loop.

Thanks. I just booked a b and b in Hawes, but can look at other places. Plan is Hamsterley for an uplift on the Sunday. So can be flexible.
Do you know a good route. I can change accommodation.
