Right, I've a 148 CL wheel that I want to pop in a 150 DH frame.
Cassette spacing isn't a concern as it has a 7speed (10-3) cassette and I'm happy to adjust the chain line inboard.
The disc spacing is my query and I'm unsure what the adjusted disc position is between DH standard and regular 12mm boost/non boost from a hub flange perspective.
Any ballpark thoughts as to how many millimeters I'd want to space the brake disc outboard by?
I'd start by just adjusting the calliper position. If its only a couple of mm, that should do it.
150 hubs are the equivalent of a 141mm spacing on your 148 hub, so I'd expect an 4.5mm difference which is of course not easy to overcome. That said I'm not sure on the disc spacing for the 150 hub standard, it may be closer.
I think if you put 1mm spacers each side your disc spacing will be 4.5mm too far inboard. I suppose then you could use a front 5mm boost adapter.
From the end caps the 150 disc is 15.3mm and the 148 disc it's 18.8mm. On a 148 boost frame 3.5mm would go in the recess.
