Are they all the same? Or are there multiple "standards"?
Need one for a 2013 Yeti
Mutiple standards unfortunately. THere are at least 3 off the top of my head (x12, maxle, shimano's one).
OK thanks looks like I need Shimano
Check here to find the one your need. Not suggesting you buy from them but it will help identify the correct one.
Cheers

I bought from them. I have 3 bikes with 142x12 axles - they are all different lengths. Most of the adverts I saw didn't even tell you the lengths of the product they were selling, or the thread pitch. Robert Axle were the only place that even made any effort to clarify what you might need, and I thought they deserved to be rewarded for that. The actual axles seem to be decent - SJS seem to be the only UK stockist.
You need to check the length to as frames are all different thickness in the drop out area

I'm desperately trying to think of the perfect innuendo for that but I can't quite get there..! 😀
