As title really! Frame would be the one which had the pierced downtube. I'm thinking it'll be pretty slack, but wondering if it will stand up to the abuse that the forks will lead it into :-/

I had 140mm pikes on mine - was fantastic. Brought it alive 🙂

Ran mine for years with 140mm pikes on and no problems.

mine (2007) has a pike on - it's great (may die one day I suppose)

slack, but not awful - the seat tube angle's [i]fairly[/i] steep so it should climb OK
mostly run mine at about 120 but 140 for long downy bits and I don't think a non-adjustable 140 fork would be bad generally (unless maybe axle-crown is very long, like older marzocchis - though mine had a 130 shiver sc on at first). If you already have the fork, at least try it
