We've spec'd a 140mm disc rotor for our race BMX design and have had clearance issues with some calipers against the spokes on our prototype hubs. I'm guessing as a combination of fairly square calipers (Hope) and a smaller rotor than MTB clearances are designed. Before I sign off on a hub design I'd just like to canvas some setups if possible.

I know 140mm rotors will be pretty rare on MTBS as it's mainly a road size but if any of you are running them, could you do me a favour and note below what combination of caliper and hub you're using and if possible what is the dimension between the the rotor mounting face and the outside edge of the spoke flange at the tip before the end radius?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Gary
