This probably silly question as i have no clue flatout on this... So i have a 135-12mm rear wheelset ... Would this fit to a frame that have dropout specs 12 x 142mm? ..or do i need to mod something?
It's a little different. Wee bit wider and the frame has slots to retain the wheel making it easier to fit. Lots of hubs offer conversion kits though.
(just for once it's a genuinely better standard, not just some bike industry SHIT)
Its an NP generator hub.. Can i get conversion on this?
No idea I'm afraid- it comes in a 142 but I don't see a conversion kit
Googled and check out CRC as well .. Cannot find parts for conversion 😐 ..and i dont want to go standard QR conversion... Blimey this MTB freemarket.. Too many standards 😡
What frame?
My 2013 Scott Genius frameset shipped with 142x12, 135x12 and 135x5 drop outs.
I'd drop Nukeproof a line though, there's very little chance that there is any difference between their 142 and their 135 aside from the end caps.
their site states :Comprehensive list of spare parts available aftermarket.
Worth a call i reckon.
Yeti asr5 frame.. Does this share the same chipset as the 2013 575?
I actually dropped them an email last night..thanks again 🙂 you shed light to my dreambuild
Would this (see link) solves the problem?
