my jones has a 135mm bolt thru front wheel.
I have some spare wheels, the front is a 130x15mm bolt thru.
with the correct thickness washers, will it work in my forks?
Might want to think about disc spacing as well Tony. Jeff uses Front disc spacing which is closer than Rear disc spacing so you might need to push the disc over as well.
Might a wheel rebuild be in order? Hope Fatsno was around £60 IIRC last time I bought one. (well, it was £32 but that was a CRC closeout deal thing)
cheers Tim. didn't think about that.
Would this help? I use one of these to run RDS FatNotFat 29er wheel on my Wazoo's default FDS fork.
Out of curiosity, what used a 130mm x 15mm front hub?
nothing, I meant just a normal hope pro 2 hub, whatever the measurement is.
I am a bit confused today. 😆
That'll be 100mm Tony.
Please don't try it.
:o/

No way that's going to end well, assuming you can even get it to work with brakes etc.
I'm running a Phil Wood 135 rear single speed hub in my Puffin Fork
it will work. i have used a standard 100mm hub in a boost fork by using the inner races of 2 bearings as axle spaces. Just ring a bearing supplier and ask for two bearings with the relevant sizes, and knock out the inner part. then i bought these to brake spacers.
It works well. Although you would need more spacers on the rotor and some MUCH longer bolts.
i wont be trying it out now, my inner sensible self knows better.
