Need to stock up on some 12mm DU bushings for my Manitou swinger. Hula-hoop type don't seem to work (they develop play after one ride - loose in the shock eye), old fashined DU ones work for about 2 months. Neither BETD or TF list them on their websites.
Any ideas? Anyone got any?
I get mine from my local http://www.eriks.com/en/products-and-services/power-transmission/bearings/
Are you sure you aren't using 1/2" ones? as they are very similar.
Deffo 12mm, Manitou like to be special 🙄
I'll give them a try.
How foolish, of course - ebay 😳
Betd sell them i bought some a few weeks ago

TF tuned do sell 12mm ones, I had abag of 10 from them couple of weeks ago.
Sounds very odd that they're only lasting such a short time though, are you sure that your mounting hardware isn't worn, or possibility of the frame being out of alignment?
This guy in the States is good

Even with the $ being stronger these days you still get 10 For £20 delivered
Mine arrived inside a week
I spoke to TF about the hula-hoop issue, as they'd just serviced the shock, fitted new heavy-duty mount kits and hula-hoop bushes. Literally one ride and the rear hula-hoop was loose in the shock eye, not on the mount axle. Apparently sometimes the shock eyes can be slightly oversized and TF recommended I used a DU type and put up with the faster wear time.
It's a single pivot frame and has a hard ('core) life.
Have now bought lots from a seller on the aforementioned online auction provider.
I followed snaps advice and asked at a local bear supplier, .60p each. The 12mm are more normal for them, the 1/2" weren't on the shelf (but can order them).
Simply Bearings stock ½" DU bushes if anyone needs 'em
