Sorry, don't know how to make this thread more exciting than it is to tempt you in with your pearls of wisdom ... 🙄
So, as per title. What's the go to for decent shifting & durability. It's a SRAM Rival 2x11 drivetrain. Bike is my CX/Gravel bike, so needs to withstand some off road abuse. Looking to spend no more than £20, ideally a little less.
It's my first 11 sp set-up so don't know whether some brands are less cheese-like than others?
KMC EL or SL are bestist like
KMC is my chain of choice too
The best KMC chain you can afford
I’ve been buying Sram X1 chains recently. The only KMC chain I had snapped, and the Shimano one I had rusted if it even so much as looked at water.
Righto. Cheers all. Generally get KMC chains for my 10sp bikes, so have gone for the KMC x11-93 at £15 on eBay.
I don't notice much difference between them TBH, they're all pretty good these days.
I usually get 105/SLX or Sram X1 - whatever's on offer really.
I run Ultegra grade Shimano chains, not snapped one yet since going 1x11 almost as soon as M800 was on general release.
XT with KMC link on MTB.
KMC X11 on Arkose.
