I’ve gone and bought a second hand set of wheels on Industry nine torch hubs which are coming with a SRAM XD freehub. It’s proving a bit difficult to find an HG freehub body so I can transfer my 11 speed Shimano cassette over. So does anyone know if there are any wider range 11 speed XD cassettes with a wider range than the old 10-42t. I quite like my 46t granny gear on the XT cassette & I think I’ll really miss it after pretty much eight weeks on my arse.
Sunrace do some cassettes that are XD driver and 10-46T I believe.
With a 10t on the back, you can run a smaller chainring, and not need so big a low cog at the back.
As you've now got a 10t smallest sprocket vs. the previous 11t, you can drop to a smaller chainring to compensate for the lack of a 46t.
10-42t = 420% range
11-46t = 418% range
Edit: what he said!
What idiotdogbrain said...
But also what cogwomble said, albeit it's a lot heavier than a SRAM cassette...
Cheers guys. I’ll check out the sunrace ones.

I'm running garbaruk from gone biking mad. 10-50. It's lovely.
Yeh I saw that but looking at the pictures it’s the 3pawl torch road one. The MTB one has 6 pawls. I’ve found a second hand one on eBay. I’ll have a punt on that. Cheers!

An expensive option but an option neither the less
