Having bent two 11 speed cages (XT M8000 and SLX M7000) in the space of a month, these have got to be the flimsiest Shimano cages I've ever come across. They really are like tin, especially when compared to machined after-market parts and are an absolute **** to get back straight.
You can buy the individual parts but I'm loathed to use like for like because they are so soft and flexible.
Can the half alloy, half carbon, XT M9000 cage be used instead?

I bet no one's tried. Just checked the prices, jeezuz, a new dérailleur is cheaper!
