Via the Vagabond thread.

Just out of interest, does anyone know if 11 speed MTB cassettes will index with 11 speed road shifters?
If so, would the 9 speed MTB mech bodge still work?
I believe cassette width is slightly different?

How about 10/11 speed MTB mechs?

Interested if anyone has tried it successfully, ta!

Plenty of CX bikes come with SRAM 1x11 running road shifters and MTB cassettes...

Apologies, forgot to mention this would be Shimano.
I'll alter the title.

I did find this post, but it was a little inconclusive.

Sram, Shimano and Campag 11spd road cassettes are all exactly the same spacings/dimensions. I put a 105 on my Rival equipped bike purely because its cheaper.
