I've been running a Sunrace for the last year or so and the range it good, shifting was fine. BUT, I've ripped two teeth right off the 46 sprocket and the next sprocket down is unusable after a single chain (just swapped out the chain based on the good shimano chain checker).
What alternatives are there? Shimano 46 has a huge jump to the 46 from the sprocket below.
Have run shimano 46 and now on sunrace 46, the sunrace ratios are much nicer and the shifting seems as good with either. Not been on the sunrace long so will have to see how durability goes, but at least it only has one alloy ring verses 2 on the shimano 46.
Edit NX seems durable if you can live with 42

That isn't actually any issue. The 50t sunrace is pretty good too.
