As above really anyone know why? Broke a link on 12spd chain... hadn't picked up a spare split link yet so tried a 11 spd one in and it was fine, no not fine perfect 👌... I had bike upside down and turned cranks slowly looking for catching etc as didn't want to risk ripping a mech off but it literally performed flawlessly on the lumpy 20 miles home. Could help someone out so thought I'd share it
Cos 11 speed chains are slightly wider i think. Only by a flea's cock, but enough.
As above - the external width of the 11 speed chain is marginally wider (although the internal width is the same).

10 speed link running 12 speed SRAM, all is well 6 rides in.
