Does anyone have any info on the 10@Kirroughtree course?
Can't find much online but some distance, profile, technicality info would be great if anyone's done it before.

I live 5miles for kiro and haven't done it. But I've ridden parts of it. Nothing to scary
Did this the last year it was held. Mostly follows the Red trail with some off-piste sections.
The off-piste sections became a mudfest the last time which made conditions challenging, but I've done this on a hardtail with 100mm travel and I'm an absolute amateur.

9/10 red route with some off piste stuff presumably to satisfy the locals.
I would prefer it if they didn’t bother as I’d be quite happy riding round the marked trails but then I’m not local.
Fine in the dry but can become quite tricky in the wet with the roots, off camber sections etc.
I’ve fell off once or twice in most of the years I’ve done it solo but always come back for more.
Laps are generally around the 8-9 mile mark (50-55min) i think and always loop back through the start finish area which is nice.
Good value, pretty low key event that I’ve supported for the last 4 or 5 years I think.
I was at ktree a couple weeks ago and there were signs/tape up for a race that i think does same route.
All marked red trail with a couple of off piste chutes, nothing to worry about. Some of the trail is awkward to climb/tricky tight turns with rocks you need to lift the front wheel onto but nothing that steep or scary. 130mm plus Hardtail or trail travel full suss would be the bike of choice for me.
