Hi, need help!!
My 105 11 spd shifter has started to play up.
I noticed it rattling when out on the road and have since discovered that the brake lever moves 6-10mm before it hits tension and starts to pull the brake cable. The only tension is the return spring. Once it hits tension, it operates perfectly.
What needs tightening?

the cable ?
undo the cable at brake caliper and hold it with your fingers and see if you still have some play .
