My 150 26er revs are getting the lowers from some 29er recons so they will go on my 29er ht.
I need to get a 100mm airshaft but struggling to find one.
Any suggestions for suppliers.
The SRAM manual also says that for every 10mm of travel reduced I need to add a token. Happy to do this but any one with experience of this?
And would it be cheaper to try to find some 100mm rebas or similar 2nd hand forks. Trying to keep the costs low in this one as I'm looking for a new main bike and the ht will become the "2nd" mtb, but will need to be decent for a couple of months while waiting for my new frame to come in to stock. (And then I'll be asking a "which forks" question !
Depending on the vintage of the forks it may be that travel is changed by putting plastic spacers on to the airshaft rather than needing a new airshaft. I also think this only applies to single air and not dual air forks.
This is the spacer kit

You'd need to check if your fork requires spacers or new airshaft.
Thanks mark90. I'll need to "date" my forks then!
I think they might be 2011 or 12.
