I'm just trying to sort out my zee/XT setup and for some reason I'm only getting 8 clicks out of the shifter when I've got it cabled up. What could I be doing wrong?
9 speed shifter maybe??
9 spd shifter or you not in 10th gear when you connect the cable.
It's a brand new 10-speed XT, ispec-b so no chance of it being 9-speed. Uncabled it shifts all 9 clicks.
Low limit screw needs screwing out maybe?
Any idea which the lower limit screw is on a zee then?
You haven't unscrewed the indicators then screwed the screws back into the shifter body for safe keeping have you?
I did this on my xt shifters and was about to send them back as I was a click short even when pulling the cable by hand when I realised what was happening...
Nah, it's ispec-b, no indicators. Bugger it, I might just whip it down the LBS tomorrow for them to sort. I'm a lazy bugger
