As above, please. I like SRAM, because of the powerlinks, though I understand that they're 1-time only on 10 speed chains? Are the hollow pin chains worth the extra money, or are they just more fragile? (not that bothered about a few grams here and there, to be honest...)
TIA
I always buy KMC 10SL chains. Not had any snap, only one missing link failure in 6k miles.
+1 for KMC. The missing link is reusable unlike others.
+1 more for the KMC for the same as above
KMC X10.
The SRAM 10spd chains are utter toss IMHO, and the 'power links' are a total PITA to do up and an overpriced one hit wonder
Wipperman connex(reusable quick link). Great chains.
Again, KMC only here. I've had Shimano and Campag chains snap. Never snapped a KMC (yet 😐 ) despite torque-ing the t1ts out of them on stupidly steep climbs.
Seems like the concensus is KMC, then! (sorry, tang...)
Thanks all
Can you use kmc chains on my Shimano xt 10s? Shimano say somthing about the plates improving shifting etc, guessing its a gimic so you only buy there chains
