will shimano 10 speed connector pins work with a kmc 10 speed chain.
need to order some to avoid the dreaded broken chain a long way from home on a cold night scenario.

It's not impossible... but why not just powerlinks? (if you've got a decathlon nearby, their own-brand powerlinks are KMC and work out way cheaper incidentally)
