I'd quite like to go to a 1 x 12 set up, but don't want to go away from standard HG hubs. All because I have wheelsets with HG hubs, and the budget won't go toward new wheels or replacement XD / Micrspline hubs.
So this means Sunrace 12 speed cassettes (which I've found perfectly OK in 10 speed version).
Have any of you mated Shimano 12 speed SLX or Sram GX to the Sunrace cassettes? Having the low end range is my need, as going fast and using the 10 or 9 tooth sprocket would be a rarity!
Or SRAM NX, if you can find one.
I'm using SRAM NX with an XT mech and SLX shifter and it's absolutely fine.
Both NX and SX cassettes work with HG freehubs, and work with both shimano and sram 12s mechs
