Hi can anyone tell me where could I get some decent 1 inch steerer suspension forks?
Has anyone tried swapping the steerers from 1 1/8" to 1"
Thanks 🙂
Marzochi always used to do an mxcomp..
other option is get in touch with magura as the last i remember they could do a special order of an inch steerer fork.
If you are trying to breathe fresh life into a retroish bike.. you may be better off selling your current frame fork combo on to someone who would be happy with that setup then the world is your confusing suspension fork size oyster.
Oh thanks mate, do you know any specific models?
I tried Googling it but unsuccessful 🙁
Thanks
I searched last year for the Marzocchi 1 inch and I couldn't find one anywhere. I may be wrong and I normally am but I don't think they make one any more.
I'd love to put 1 inch into my clockwork orange (that'll get the Sat night crowd going)
Make friends with the boys and girls at retro swag hoarding... cough i mean older stuff.
Big community of people riding older kit and chances are you'd find something for sale on the forum.
Haha thanks will do 🙂
Can't comment on the quality but might be worth taking a look at these

Thanks mate will check it out 🙂
I've got a brand new set of Marzocchi MX comps in my garage with a 1" steerer that I got for a project that never happened which I'd let go for what I paid for them (£80). They are missing the top caps which can be got here for £2.99 (no stock for a couple of weeks tho') or you could just use schrader valve caps. I've even got the v-brake boss kit as well
Drop me a mail to ken_shields@btopenworld.com if you're interested and I'll send you some pics
Cheers
Ken
