Want to kick off – or add to – a bikepacking setup? Thinking of entering some godawful endurance distance bike race? Maybe just want to take your commuting load off your aching back? Perhaps you just like luggage? Whatever. This bundle o’ bags from luggage-meisters Tailfin could be the solution.
As with all Tailfin’s stuff, it’s exceptionally well made and thought through with a nice balance of features and minimalist sleekness.

Rear Top Tube Bag
“This featherweight pack transforms the often-overlooked space in front of your seat post into practical storage, keeping ride essentials accessible without adding bulk.” We have the 08L Mountain Bike version to give away,
Downtube Pack
“The Downtube Pack is our solution for adding extra storage to a frame without traditional cargo mounting points thanks to patented V-Mount hardware that create a truly solid, reliable, and repeatable connection between bike and pack. Downtube Packs allow you to utilise free space for carrying the essentials whether on a mountain bike trail ride, bikepacking adventure, or road tour.” We have the 1.7L size as a prize. And yes, it still comes with two Tailfin V-Mount Straps.
Mini Cage
“The Mini Cage is a versatile, low-profile mount for carrying gear or bottles. Perfect for carrying essentials on your mountain or gravel bike securely and rub free.”
Cargo Strap
“The Tailfin Cargo Strap has been designed from the ground up specifically for bikepacking use. Use it to strap a Cage Pack or drybag to a Cargo Cage or for attaching additional loads to your bike. Tuned TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) strap material offers the perfect blend of stretch, strength, and durability.”
Good luck and happy adventuring should you win!

why when I click the link am I not logged in and getting adverts, I don’t understand :-/ is there a member log in somewhere?
Tailfin marketing working well on me here, very tempted by that litte under-the-saddle frame bag. Price is a bit steep, though.
I put my name and email in to ‘sign in’. Once I’ve done that I’m told to click on the link in an email but, if I don’d do that, I can still see the question and answer it and I get told that my entry is logged.
Does my entry go in if I don’t click on the emailed link?
Yay, the voice is back!
I suspect the simple answer is to click the link just in case.
The whole process seems unnecessarily convoluted, given that I’m already logged into the site, why do I need to ‘log in’ again and then confirm that additional log-in by clicking on an e-mail link? And why do I have to go through that same process day after day? I know I’m a whining, hard-to-please misanthrope and Christmas is a time for multiple festive log-ins, but it does all seem a bit belt and braces.
I’m hardly going to provide a bogus e-mail address because if I do that, there’ll be no way for STW to contact me to let me know that I’ve won a pile of Taifin or other bike swag?
I’m sure there are good underlying reasons behind all this, but I’m wiped out with some sort of festive gut-rot and just sitting through the Megasack videos is exhausting, when I could be wallowing in undiluted self pity.
ah, that’s what confused me, so being logged in here is not in itself enough–it is a bit of an odd set up–ho hum.
So as above, I’m logged in but still go through the email verification process every day. However, even though I’ve entered every day, the summary of my entries still shows just 1. So today it says I’ve completed 1 entry and there are 13 days to go. Is the system recording my previous entries for the final Megasack thingy?
I never receive an email verification so I have no idea if I am entered or not
I assume, correctly I hope, that my entries are being logged. If I click on the e-mail link after already answering a question it shows a tick next to the question and I am not able to answer it again.
Each day is a seperate comp. It shows the entries you have for that day only. It is not a running total. If you want to know how many entries in total you have then go back top each competition story and add the entries. In short, if you have an entry showing in each of the seven days we’ve run then you have 7 total entries.
Thanks Mark.
