The 4X World Championships went down in Val di Sole, Italy at the end of August. Racing for Ghost Bikes since 2012, Tomas Slavik is one of the best 4X riders on the circuit. There aren’t many things he hasn’t won during the course of his career. His latest World Championship win is one of many. From King of Crankworx wins to 4X Pro Tour overalls, he’s been consistent and professional since he began racing 4X in 2009.
His latest win was pretty spectacular. In his latest video to celebrate, he goes through the whole experience in Val di Sole. He talks about the track, his bike and then we get to dive into racing. He looks so fast, it’s a good watch.

Czech Republic is celebrating – Tomas Slavik is took home the gold medal from the 2021 4X UCI World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy. His bad luck at this venue is over and even after health issues which almost took him out of race he came back strong and took a win!

I have learnt one of the most important lessons in life – to never give up. I was trying to get that rainbow jersey in Italy from 2015. I’ve been through crashes, injuries, technical issues, bad luck and to be honest it was difficult as I knew how hard I worked for it.
It was true relief and pure hapiness when I was going through the finish line in first place. This is the moment that’s hard to describe in words. I got over my nemesis story in Val di Sole, its been long years and I missed those stripes on my chest! Thank you everyone for so many messages and cheering for me in Italy or from your homes! THANK YOU guys!
