Kate Courtney Pulls out of Leogang Race due to Broken Arm

Following her crash in Nove Mesto, Scott-SRAM rider, Kate Courtney discovered she had broken her arm. Although recovery is going well, she announced she was missing Leogang to instead focus on recovery. With the Olympics looming, her goal is to be fully healed and ready for the games.

After the race in Nove Mesto, she posted on her Instagram:

My crash in Nove Mesto was a little harder than I thought and resulted in a non displaced fracture of my ulna. The good news is I can still train comfortably on the road with this splint but am making sure to be cautious and allow it to heal as quickly as possible. I am so grateful to the team around me for helping manage this injury and keep me charging forward.

Not too good about writing about myself, but not so bad at writing about other things. There was a time that I hated bikes, but then they became my life. Wouldn't be the person I am if I hadn't been on this journey. Here's to bikes, drinking tea and everything that comes with life on two wheels. I'm Lauren, I like bikes and writing about them. Always trying my best and up for adventures.
