DJ Khaled: Go Sit On A Log

Watch this, then go grab your bike and head out there to find a log to sit on! DJ Khaled shows us the joy to be found out on the trails.

Could this be the best feel good MTB video of the year? No carbon wonder machine. No roost, no gnar, no braap. It’s Florida – there aren’t any hills, let alone mountains. It’s just a guy cruising along and enjoying his surroundings, the effort of his body, the headspace he finds.

It’s not selling anything – except perhaps the idea that getting out into nature is something that we should all be doing. If you happen to live in Miami, for a $2 fee you could be joining this guy on the trails in Oleta Park, a huge State Park on the edge of the city.

OK, so it turns out that the guy cruising along is a super famous DJ and music producer. A couple of years back – according to Wikipedia – he spent $25.9m on a house in Miami. So, he could probably buy a fancy bike if he wanted to and, if he felt like it, a helmet. But don’t let the absence of either distract you from his words or the point of this video. Get out there, smell the trees, hear the leaves. Go sit on a log.
