Choosing a Singletrack Magazine cover image is a very lengthly process that the staff often struggle to agree on. Amanda likes landscapes, Chipps has an eye for good lighting and body position, Hannah likes to consider the colour palette, Mark is best at looking at the bigger picture and how it will look on the shelf… So what do we do when we pull our magazine out of the newsstand and make it subscriber only? During a lockdown when we can’t commission people to go out and get rad? We’ll tell you what we do:

That’s all you’re getting for now. This cover has been weeks in the making, it’s one pencil sharpening away from being complete and it is AMAZING.
Singletrack Issue 100 – Jo Burt
This isn’t the first time we’ve had an illustrated cover. In September 2015 we had Jo Burt create this masterpiece to celebrate our 100th issue:

It will come with no surprise that issue 100 sold out, much like many of our recent issues, and given that our upcoming one has an illustrator that hasn’t done a magazine cover before but has spent a length of time in our forum, we don’t expect to have any spares of issue 131.
Important Update
Singletrack Magazine is usually printed in two versions: one is the Newsstand Edition, and one is the Premier Edition. Both have the same cover price, but the Premier Edition has an extra bonus section at the back, and it has a clean cover without attention grabbing coverlines, so you can better appreciate the artwork chosen for you.

Due to current events, this is changing. Since very few Newsstand copies would be sold, printing that version of Singletrack Magazine and sending them out would just result in a bunch of unsold copies being pulped. Which is bad for business, and bad for the environment.
Instead, for this issue we will only be selling Singletrack in the Premier Edition format, via subscriptions, our shop, and our network of Premier Dealers.

Taking out an Annual Print and Digital subscription to Singletrack Magazine at £39 will, over the course of the six issues you’ll receive, save you £6 per year on the cover price of buying them individually. You’ll also get discounts in our shop, and access to our entire back catalogue. Digital only subscribers get a similar range of benefits – but you don’t get the printed magazine delivered to your door for a valuable dose of downtime away from your screen.
Binners? But it doesn’t look like a Binners?
Is photoshop Jamie back?
Or Mrs Toast, that would be a special cover to keep
Louise?
Weird, literally just found my copy of Singletrack Issue 100 in perfect condition….don’t know how it survived as most end up in the smallest room
I loved the 100th issue mugs, I bought one for daily use and one as a spare.
Someone lifted the work one, and I then broke the spare getting it out of the box. Years on and I’m still peeved!
I’ve 1 and 100…
Best keep this one in good condition too…
Here’s to issue 200.
@matt_outandabout I want to do a Scratch-n-sniff for issue 200…
whats the ETA for this fine example of the printed word !?
Will you be selling prints or posters of this issues cover art. I have bought a tea towel but that won’t look so good in a frame.
