The 2019 661 Reset MIPS is a £115 full-face helmet with MIPS protection!

661 has taken it’s highly popular and mightly affordable Reset full face helmet and given it a Mips makeover for 2019.

Back at the start of 2018 661 launched a bunch of new products, including new gloves and full-face helmet models. The launch was a significant one, almost a relaunch of the brand so that it could once again focus on high-performance protection at down to earth pricing.

The 661 Reset, clever name, was the first new 661 full-face and featured a bespoke shell design, attractive finishes, plenty of vents and excellent visibility. It was also great value at less than £84.99 retail but could be found for about half of that online.

Building on the success of the 2018 661 Reset, 661 has taken that standard helmet and given it a slight upgrade. The standard 661 Reset is still available, but this improved model is now available for riders looking for more features while retaining a great price point.

Want to remain a little more understated then how about Deep Forest Green?

Named the 661 Reset MIPS, the new budget helmet features MIPS protection, an important feature that is proven to help protect your brain in a severe accident. MIPS works by reducing rotational forces that are transmitted in a crash, but it’s something we normally see on helmets costing £150+, not on £115 full-face lids.
