How much is your riding worth to you? We all know and understand the mental and physical health, environmental and social benefits of riding our bikes, but if you had to quantify it, could you? Could you put a price on the Wednesday night rides in December and the dawn until dusk weekend epics in July? Could you work out what the values of those experiences are? We could probably calculate how much cash we fritter on our hobby and how much time we spend in the saddle, but as any Government IT project manager will tell you, the value of what you end up with rarely matches the cost of the resources put in.
