Martyn Ashton + E-bikes – this is why

A month or so ago, a video Martyn released a video which got everyone rather excited when he strapped himself into a modified Nicolai, and hit the trails. And now? Now he’s gone and gotten himself an e-bike. Oh, YEAH!

Screen Shot 2015-08-13 at 10.51.47He’s posted some teaser footage on Facebook about his new beastie. We can’t embed the video for lots of boring technical reasons, so you’ll need to see it here.
But needless to say, we’re QUITE EXCITED to see what he’ll do next…

If you missed the fuss about the last video – here it is (grab a hanky):

Barney Marsh takes the word ‘career’ literally, veering wildly across the road of his life, as thoroughly in control as a goldfish on the dashboard of a motorhome. He’s been, with varying degrees of success, a scientist, teacher, shop assistant, binman and, for one memorable day, a hospital laundry worker. These days, he’s a dad, husband, guitarist, and writer, also with varying degrees of success. He sometimes takes photographs. Some of them are acceptable. Occasionally he rides bikes to cast the rest of his life into sharp relief. Or just to ride through puddles. Sometimes he writes about them. Bikes, not puddles. He is a writer of rongs, a stealer of souls and a polisher of turds. He isn’t nearly as clever or as funny as he thinks he is.

  1. In a World full of bad news and negativity, THIS is the kind of story to brighten up anyone’s day, especially bumbling mountain bikers like me who struggle to match Ashton’s skills even with the help of working legs :-/
