Protection brand Kali has a new skate helmet out. What does this have to do with us? You’ll see.

Kali co-founder and Director of Engineering Brad Waldron explains exactly what’s wrong with current offerings (kids ‘wearing’ helmets on the ends of their bars/chucking them at the floor in a strop feature strongly), and why Kali decided to do something different with the Viva. He even shows us what’s inside the new lid – and it’s basically a plastic hedgehog. Brilliant. More like this please, bike trade – we like knowing what we’re paying for.
