Martyn Ashton returns with Road Bike Party 2

Martyn’s last video – Road Bike Party was a huge hit for the perennial trials star, with nearly ten million views on Youtube. Unfortunately, since that video, Martin had a bad riding accident and is now in a wheelchair. With most of Road Bike Party2 shot, Martyn only needed a few more scenes to be shot before he and Robin Kitchin could edit together the second instalment.

Luckily, Martyn has a few good friends he can call on to help.

So, turn off the phone, shut the door and watch this now:

and if you’ve not seen the original video, or fancy seeing it again, then get watching!

  1. Fantastic video, used to watch ‘chain spotting’ and ‘tricks and stunts’ the two martins got me hooked on cycling, still got scars on my shins from those early days.

Never met mr Ashton in person, watched a live show or two and gave him the most cheesy thumbs up ever once on the motorway, which he gave back.

Think i feel a bit sad about his current state of health now 🙁

  2. Absolutely amazing footage, brilliant to watch MacAskill and Ackrigg supporting a fellow rider. It looked and sounded as though all involved had a lot of fun. Great work from everyone, and all the best for the future Martyn.

  3. I just wish I could do that backwards down the hill thing……I would join a roady club just to get thrown out for showing off !!
I saw Martyn do his show in Taunton. He didnt stop smiling.
We are all willing you to get better mate.
