Interbike 2013: Cateye even easier on the eyes

More screen, less scratch.

Bigger & clearer
Bigger & clearer

With a range of wireless computers that are not only backward-compatible but also (as a rule) refuse to die, Cateye seems to take an evolutionary approach to product development. For 2014,the Japanese company has added a big screen variation to the line.  Nearly twice the size of the Strada Wireless, the Padrone looks not only kinder on those with imperfect eyesight, but should also be easier to read while bouncing down the trail.

Despite the larger screen, removing the little-requested second distance and wheel size functions has allowed for a $5 price drop when compared to the Strada Wireless: $55.  UK pricing is not yet available, but Cateye is distributed by Zyro.
