This is the base for Lumicycle’s modular approach to lighting. The LED3 CNC-machined head unit houses three Cree XPG LEDs that offer a claimed 1025 lumens, which can be increased to 1500 lumens via its three-minute boost setting. The light comes supplied with a 2.6Ah frame battery which gives a run time of four hours on high, 11 hours on medium and a bonkers 57 hours on low. The bar mount needs to be adapted from its standard 25.4mm size when first used on a 31.8mm bar, which is fiddly but once completed offers a secure, quick-release fit.
