I just happened to be passing the Orange booth and Danny Macaskill was there, chatting to MTBCut’s Stu (who filmed his latest video)
Here’s a little peek at the bike he was riding. Small, compact and bolt-through everything. And in the most rugged of colours too. We like!
With that, we’ll light the blue touchpaper…

sweet sweet bike !
Nice to see a serious trials bike that doesn’t look ridiculous.
“Just in case he might want to run gears…”
is that a fact, or extrapolation. I know a lot of trialsy types run tensioners to prevent problems associated with horizontal dropouts (or track ends for the pedants) such as shifting the wheel under torque, and crushing the chain between the wheel and the Bottom bracket shell during cockups.
Either way, i noticed the Bolt throughs on the last video. Tis a loverly bike. Wish i had enough/any skill to warrant one
You appear to be correct. There’s no cable guides, so that’s me told 🙂
Ace bike regardless…
I’m pretty certain he was running Saint brakes in the latest POC film that he did with Martin Sodastream. Wondered if he found the Hope trials brakes as reliable as I did…
Awesome bike – want one…..
